Peter Parnell B Rur Sc (Hons), Ph. D, GAICD

Peter joined the RFCS (Nth NSW) Board in April 2024 following over 40 years of experience working with people and communities in rural Australia performing a range of roles as a leader, manager, mentor, scientist, educator and farmer.  This has included senior management positions in both the private and public sector. 

Peter has a strong passion for the advancement of rural industries through the strategic application of continuous improvement and innovation.  He is currently retired from formal employment and engaged in running a small family agricultural business near Armidale, NSW with a strong focus on holistic landscape management.
