Webinar helps you Get “Claim Ready”

Webinar helps you Get “Claim Ready”

With key Special Disaster Relief grant and support deadlines approaching, RFCSNR is delivering the Claim Ready webinar to help farmers and fishers get ahead of the paperwork, processes and preparation needed when applying for assistance.

In partnership with the NSW Rural Assistance Authority, we will deliver practical, step-by-step guidance to help participants better understand what’s required when lodging claims and using the new online claims portal.

The webinar brings together insights from a Rural Financial Counsellor and the RAA, covering:

  • What “claim ready” actually means in practice
  • How to keep key financial and business records organised
  • Common pitfalls that delay applications
  • What assessors look for when reviewing claims

At RFCSNR, we aim to empower farmers and rural businesses to prepare before they need to act, reducing stress and building confidence when navigating assistance processes.

If you’re unsure where to start, or the idea of getting everything “claim ready” feels overwhelming, we encourage you to watch this webinar with a family member, partner, or someone who supports you in your business. Having another set of eyes can make it easier to talk through your records, share the workload of getting organised, and ensure nothing important is missed. This practical information is designed to be used together – because preparation is often easier and more effective when it’s a shared effort.

This session is part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening financial resilience across the Northern Rivers region – ensuring producers are not only responding to challenges, but ready for them.
