Lynette Zito takes a vision and makes it reality through sound strategy development. She intuitively sees the threads of opportunity that wind through an organisation and works with the board and executive to bring them together into a coherent whole.

She is a leader who motivates action while at the same time is grounded in the needs of the communities which she serves. Lynette is respected as a credible voice in decision making, finding strategic solutions, and establishing governance boundaries.

Currently, as Chair of Richmond Valley Business & Rural Financial Counselling Services Inc (RVB&RFCS), she has led the successful development of a new strategic direction focusing on developing partnerships in the corporate, government and community sectors.

For more than ten years, Lynette was a self-employed business consultant and trainer working with small and niche businesses on the Far North Coast of NSW. She began her business career as the accountant for The Davis Media Buying Group in the USA. This was followed by Business Services Manager (responsible for administration, finance and human resources) for Eden Technology Pty Ltd, where she also held the role of Company Secretary, and then contract positions with the NSW Health Service including Quality Coordinator and Acting VMO Manager. Other government contracts have included District Manager Far North Coast for Census 2011 and 2016. Lynette served in the Women’s Royal Australian Navy for five years.

She presently serves on several Boards of Directors for charitable and not for profit organisations in Northern NSW and Sydney. Previous governance roles include four years as an elected Councillor on Kyogle Council and a member of a NSW Police Occupational Health & Safety Workplace Committee.

Lynette is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an Associate of Applied Science (Honours) [Accounting], Certificate IV Governance, Certificate IV Training and Assessment, and Certificate IV Applied Human Resource Management.

Director Jill Whitehouse

With over 20 years experience in Food Retail Buying, Jill has expertise in working with fresh food (agricultural and horticultural) suppliers and small businesses as they liaise with their customers and consumers. She is passionate about building healthy business relationships to achieve aligned strategic goals.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Post Graduate Diploma (Management), a Degree in Applied Science (Agriculture), is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Director John Brown

John has over 40 years of banking and financial sector experience, with 20 years in the roles of GM and CEO of mutual financial institutions.
He has a long association with, and serving the needs of, rural communities and brings to the Board skills in the areas of corporate governance, strategic planning and marketing.

John holds a Bachelor in Economics (Economics) and is a graduate of the Australian Institution of Company Directors.
